FAQ

What UGR (Unified Glare Rating) value is neccessary?

The productivity and wellbeing of employees is strongly influenced by lighting. Light should be bright enough for work purposes, but not so intense that it causes discomfort.

The UGR value (Unified Glare Rating) indicates the amount of glare emitted by a lamp. This makes the UGR value essential in environments such as offices, schools, and study rooms.

  • In offices and schools, the UGR value should be below 19

  • In public spaces, a UGR value of below 22 is sufficient

Choosing the right lighting not only enhances comfort, but also improves productivity and concentration for employees or students.
