With the help of the app, you can record footage. This can be done both manually and automatically. Depending on your choice, the footage is saved on your smartphone’s memory, the SD card in your smart device, or in cloud storage.
Manual recording
With the ‘Screenshot’ option, you can manually take a photo of the live image. This photo is saved in the app’s memory on your smartphone. You can view these images later via the ‘Photo album’ or 'Images' option.
With the ‘File’ option, you can start a video recording of the live image from your smart device. Press ‘File’ again to stop the recording. The video is saved in your smartphone’s memory and can be viewed via ‘Photo album’.
Automatic recording
To record footage automatically, you need to insert an SD card into your smart device or subscribe to cloud storage. The available settings may vary per device.
Recording settings
If this option is available, you can set the recording mode here. You can choose from:
- Event recording (recording on activity, such as motion)
- Continuous recording
Additionally, you can set a schedule. This determines on which days and times recordings are automatically made and saved to the SD card.
If your device does not have the ‘Recording settings’ option, recordings are automatically made when motion is detected or when the doorbell is rung.
Viewing automatic recordings
You can view recorded footage via the ‘Play’ option.
With the ‘Date’ button, you open the calendar and can select recordings from a specific day. By swiping left or right over the timeline, you can view footage from a specific time.
