Firmware update for Outdoor Mesh products

Before you start updating the firmware, we recommend reading this article in full.

The update is carried out via Bluetooth. Make sure you are close to the lamp with your smartphone (preferably 1–2 metres).
An update takes approximately 3.5 minutes per lamp. Keep the update screen active during the update and do not close the app.


Check current firmware version

You can check the current firmware version in the app as follows:

  1. Go to the ‘My Home’ tab
  2. Tap on the relevant device
  3. Open the settings menu via the three dots (…) or the pencil icon
  4. Tap on ‘Check for firmware update’
  5. In the next screen, you will see the current firmware version (Vx.x)
  6. Tap 3 times on the top left arrow (<) to return to ‘My Home’

Available update

If a new firmware update is available, you will automatically receive a notification in the app.
This notification often contains additional information about improvements or resolved issues.


Important before updating

Please consider the following:

  • Ensure your smartphone has sufficient battery
  • Stay within 1–5 metres of the lamp (preferably 1–2 metres)
  • Update one lamp at a time

Updating firmware

  1. Tap ‘Update now’ in the notification
  2. You will be redirected to the update screen
  3. Tap ‘Update’
  4. Confirm with ‘Start update’ (if prompted)

During the update, you will see a progress bar.
Keep this screen open and do not close the app until the update is fully completed.


After the update

  • After a successful update, the app will automatically return to the control screen
  • It may take a moment for the lamp to be fully reconnected to the Bluetooth Mesh network
