How do I reset my Smart products?

Performing a reset will erase all configuration settings and connections of your Smart product. The device will be restored to its original state and can then be reconnected to a network or Smart App account.

Smart Lamp

  1. Screw the lamp into a fixture.

  2. If there are multiple lamps in the same fixture, temporarily remove the others to prevent them from entering pairing mode.

To perform the reset (by turning on/off we mean interrupting the power supply):

  1. Ensure the lamp is ON, then switch it OFF.

  2. Wait 5 seconds.

  3. Switch the lamp ON and OFF within 2 seconds.

  4. Wait 1 second.

  5. Switch the lamp ON and OFF within 2 seconds.

  6. Wait 1 second.

  7. Switch the lamp ON. The lamp will now blink.

The lamp is now in pairing mode and can be re-added in the app.

Bluetooth Mesh Lamp (Outdoor)

  1. Ensure the lamp is ON, then switch it OFF.

  2. Wait 10 seconds.

  3. Switch the lamp ON and OFF within 2 seconds.

  4. Wait 5 seconds.

  5. Switch the lamp ON and OFF within 2 seconds.

  6. Wait 5 seconds.

  7. Switch the lamp ON. The lamp will now blink.

The lamp is now in pairing mode and can be re-added in the app.

Important:
If you are using a Bluetooth Mesh Gateway, add the lamps via the Gateway management page in the app.

Other Smart Devices (e.g., Smart Doorbell or Camera)

  1. Press and hold the reset button or pinhole for approximately 5 seconds.

  2. The device will start blinking or emit a sound.

The device is now in pairing mode and can be re-added in the app.

Additional Information

When is a reset necessary?

  • If a device no longer responds in the app.

  • If the Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connection has been lost.

  • If you want to pair the device with a different network or Smart App account.

How do I know the reset was successful?

  • For lamps: the lamp will blink, indicating it is in pairing mode and ready to be re-added.

  • For other devices: a blinking light or sound signal indicates that the device has been successfully reset.

How long does resetting take?

  • The entire process usually only takes a few minutes.

  • Ensure the device is properly connected to a suitable fixture or power supply before performing the reset.
