What should I do if my Smart device does not respond to the app or remote control?

If your Smart device is not responding, there may be several causes. Follow these steps to resolve the issue:

  1. Check the power supply
    Make sure the device is properly connected and receiving power. For battery-powered devices, check that the battery is sufficiently charged.

  2. Check the connection

    • Ensure your device is within range of your Wi-Fi network or Smart hub.

    • Verify that your smartphone is connected to the same network used by the device.

  3. Restart the device
    Turn the device off and then back on. This often resolves many connection issues.

  4. Check the app

    • Open your Tuya-compatible app (e.g., Smart Life) and check if the device is visible.

    • Try controlling the device again via the app.

  5. Reset the device
    If the device still does not respond, perform a factory reset according to the user manual, then add it back to the Tuya app.

  6. Check the remote control
